you must have extracted the files into the override folder....as a folder, check your orveride folder for the acp folder...copy paste all the files in the acp folder and past them directly into the override folder

sometimes when you switch what acp style you are useing the cape will go away, just re-equip it and it should fix, if not relogging seems to work

Actually, Xiladei's cloak dissappears completely, and my ACP are in individual files in the Override folder.

Demon Blade and all Unarmed styles have no support for Cloaks. And no Styles have support for tabbards or coats.

I thought losing the tabbard, coats and cloaks looked silly (as did some of the things the ACP was meant to do ... whichever 'person' thought of backholding a katana with one hand should be shot) so I uninstalled it. It fixed the problem immediately

The lazy bums who were going to look up an update for ACP, me being one of them, found things, found it was to hard to extract the updated stuff, and gave up.

Deal with it till Ragnarok (the creator) returns and makes and update.

It may get worse when the hak pack clothing parts go in.

They're a major part of me wanting the haks, so there's no way I'm putting the ACP back now.

If we could figure out what pheno's get redirected where and how it's done we could make our own custom version. But bloody oath I have no idea how that thing works. It's so confusing.

Yargh!!! *races to server*

EDIT: okay, I feel stupid; I did the crafting menu and didn't see new clothes. How do I access the new ones?

EDIT2: okay, I see new clothes for legs and robes and such; are there new chest armors going in to? didn't see any of those.

Discos doing them in parts, and I assume its so the DM team can figure out which Chest Pieces, Shields and Helmets to Save for Requests much like the PDK shield and Gem Weapon Parts used to be.

IF ACP causes too many visual errors, as much as I like using the fighter, or maybe it's called warrior, whichever... As much as I like using it, I'd rather have clothing visuals work correctly so I don't get nude pelveis or something :P

If forced to choose, ACP goes out the window.

So far, it's okay.

Might be a good idea to add a warning in the conversation file about no cloaks with unarmed forms and the no tabards, etc.

Someone probably asked a DM to change them or Selvecs Wrong completely.

Well, I've seen a dragon emblem tower sheild and an orange crystal greatsword blade on two lowbies in the past two days within' L'bousl.

So either they are in, or some how it's pulling texture resources from the hak. Because I have no weapon overrides, and I've never seen that orange greatsword blade before in my entire time on Amia, dispite having a greatsword using Weapon master.

The are no new chest pieces. I expanded robes, arms, legs, feet, neck, and belt. There simply wasn't anything else worth the bother. Chest pieces were all inferior to the BioWare stuff, for example. I don't see much of a reason to waste space on such things.

Dragon emblem shield has been in for a very long time.

Not sure what you're talking about with an organge crystal greatsword. Might have been a gfx glitch on your PC.

Oh, are you serious? Please can this be rethought? I have seen a lot of nice other chest pieces on other servers and I personally think the chest pieces from Bioware are very limited.

In all fairness I agree. More choice in the chest pieces would be a good idea. Let the players decide what looks good or not. If any piece is too bad then it can always be removed later.

It's very limited and generic in the realms of cloth armor and full plate.

Cloth armors have the lowest amount of (decent) chest pieces if memory serves.

Also: I doubt it, but would it be at all possible to add color scheme options for individual sections of armor instead of all over?

Such as you can have a different color for Cloth 1, Cloth 2, Leather 1, Leather 2, Metal 1, Metal 2 in the chest section than you can have for say the legs sections.

That would offer a lot more customization variety for PCs if you ask me but not sure if it would be possible to implement. I sincerely doubt it.

Not possible, afaik. I play around with the toolset all the time. Armors(clothes) are treated as one unit for the whole Leather, Cloth, Metal thing. The engine's just not set up to deal with idividual pieces.

If the players decide then we'll be dded everything because someone will always like it from somewhere. This is not a small amount of work and new crafting bits are among the biggest sized things to ad to a hak.

Well, after working with the hacks, playing Guild Wars & co, and looking around in other game engines and 3D modeling I can only say I am completely awed by the NWN crafting system and the work that went into it. It's pretty usual to us now, but 'competing games' are cheapo ripoffs at best. Just the fact that you have 6 different colour options, 20 separate body parts, and all of that for 5 races, 2 sexes, 2 phenotypes... wow. That's 1200 models, just for the chests.

Then don't add it if it's too much work. Issue solved.

How clever...

In all fairness the sheer amount of work involved was not brought up as a reason until Tormak mentioned it. The initial impression was that Disco felt the pieces weren't upto scratch.

Even tho we are all grateful for any new placeables, tiles, clothes etc, after looking at the same armours for several years *almost anything* new would be appreciated. However, if it's *too much work* then don't and focus on more important things.

But why debate when >.> is so much more fun?

Mr T
