Here is intructions how to custom your chat colors.
Backup your nwnplayer.ini just in case!
1. Open nwnplayer.ini in notepad (located in your main NWN folder)
2. Add following section at end of file
Code: [Chat Colors]
TalkColor=255,255,255
ShoutColor=255,1,255
WhisperColor=255,128,128
TellColor=145,255,125
ServerColor=176,176,176
PartyColor=1,255,255
DMColor=16,223,255
(my settings, not original)
3. You can change any value between 1-255 and they go in order Red,Green,Blue.
4. Save file and enjoy

For reference, his colors will do the following:
Talk: Standard white
Shout: Purple
Whisper: Reddish-pink
Tells: Standard green it looks like
Server: Standard grey
Party: teal colored
DM: very similar to the above teal.
I wouldn't recommend this for a DM unless you changed either the DM or the party color to separate the spam.

Isn't there a color guide somewhere as well that gives you the numbers and colors? I searched but couldn't find, but I remember that from eons ago. I chose peach and such previously.

The colours in that one (presuming you mean Xavi's one) were:

TalkColor=240,240,240

WhisperColor=128,128,128
TellColor=32,255,32
ServerColor=176,176,176
PartyColor=255,102,255
DMColor=16,223,255
Talk = White
Shout =Yellow/gold
Whisper = Grey
Tell = Green
Server = A lighter grey
Party = Pwetty Purple!
DM = Not sure, but I think that's Cobalt.

It's a teal. Those are my colors that I gave to some people: It's the standard colors but with party changed to a nice purple instead ofan identicaly-to-Talk white.

I changed these like 6 years ago and I never was DM myself so It never popped into my mind how similar they were -.- And I just simply copy-pasted these from my file. If you mean something what shows you what color it looks like and then it gives you numbers for it, MS Paint color palette is easy way to get them. as another helpful tool, you can use Word and find a color(s) you like and get the RGB's there as well in the custom color pop-up... you can find RGB, CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black) and Pantone Colors in the 07' version of publisher. Publisher also has that nice dropper tool for those of you that don't have photoshop to capture colors if you wanted to get a color from a picture or clipart.
Just some other helpful tips
