mmm, my character has assassin with a sword and shield, i gave it to her because it looks the most animalistic, wild, quick, and untrained lookin which is what i think of her as, not "omg i hold my sword backwords" besides dual wield assassin is the total nectar of assassin ACP, too bad i dont have a dual wielder >.<

P.S. like the way assassin makes you run :D

Interesting.

This is what NWE is using.
Quote:
3.1.1 Fighting Style Menus
The various fighting styles have been categorized and linked to class specific menus, accessed through the Class Radial Menu.

Arcane Fighting Styles Menu
· Ars Magica Style (Ars Magna)

Weapon Master Fighting Styles Menu
· Demonblade Style
· Kendo Style (Kensei)

Monk Fighting Styles Menu
· Bear Claw Style
· Dragon Palm Style
· Sun Fist Style
· Tiger Fang Style

Rogue Fighting Styles Menu
· Light Weapon Style (Fencing)
· Silent Blade Style (Assassin)

Warrior Fighting Styles Menu
· Light Weapon Style (Fencing)
· Two-Handed Style (Heavy)
· Weapon and Shield Style (Classic Warrior)

With the exception of the Arcane Fighting Style, ACP Fighting Styles are granted to characters at 1st level. The Arcane Fighting Style is granted to Sorcerers or Wizards when the reach 10th level.

Their system is set up like this. So people get styles based on classes. Indeed, all the styles in NWE also are avaliable to all races, including demonblade. The cloaks seemingly work to, as do all the 1.69 robes. It also seemingly works with a radial feat system like the earlier ACP feats, as opposed to the dialog system. The interesting part is that they are using different files in the override. So I'm thinking maybe the originals are in the HAK.

Edit: Does anyone know the numbers of the new cloaks and robes for male and female? PMH0173 and such. If so I may be able to release a fix, should testing show no drama's.

Well, from taking a gander it seem's like the NWE stuff should be able to be used on Amia in an override format, but I'll be damned if I can figure out how to do it. I think it's just a bit beyond me, and I don't have the knowledge and thus the eye, for seeing what needs to be done.

So I suggest someone else more experienced takes a look at it. Mahtan or Disco perhaps.

Also - Since this is more or less in-game, Can we add it to the Download section at the sidebar?

That would be a bad idea. As it gives the illusion it's something Amia is responsable for, which means updating, fixing bugs, etc etc. Stuff thats in no way going to happen.

Better to leave it out of the offical stuff.

I noticed something today. That as you switch ACP; The default -stance- your character has is also changed.
Non-ACP users does NOT see this; but those who have Downloaded the pack does.

It's quite interesting. Thus my Dwarven female went from plain - to SEXY!

An end of woe may be at hand guys and girls.

http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Ha ... il&id=7684

This hak uses 4.0 ACP, CEP 2.1 and 1.69

They use surcoats to and such as recently added, this would suggest that somewhere in this pack is the answer to our woes concerning Animations, 1.69 and CEP.

Thats my hope anyway.

I can update the new robes!

I'm gonna do it! I have instructions on how to do it! If I could get a zip of all the new robe files, I can edit the files and make it work.

Yea well, its gonna take a while. Around 203 files I have to replicate 10 times, edit the names of, and change what pheno's they reference in the actual file. Because Amia added 18 new robes, and the ACP uses 11 new phenos. Just glad it's not using the fat pheno, otherwise it would take several months, as it would be 407 replicate ten times.

You are my hero! Good luck doing it, though!

Looking forward to see it working with Rizzen. His unarmed fighting style with the HAK stuff leaves his arms behind when he kicks and punches people. :P

Be aware I'm only doing the robes at the moment. I may do the new arm and leg pieces, but if I do it will be further down the track, as thats an even bigger job.

It may take several weeks as well. Finally I still have to test it to make sure the method works, sometimes what someone says and what is fact are very different. So don't get your hopes up till I've tested it on the first race to make sure it actually will work. Once I've tested and confirmed the method actually works like it's said to, I'll probably ask for help, as it's not that complicated, just a lot of work.

According to Disco Arcs Magica is to flashy for Amia. It causes you to float, have you weapon float beside you, and a spell book appear in front. It is a bit over the top honestly. Everyone would be floating around.

It works! I finally got this god aweful thing to work!

Bow down before your god! *cough* It works with the tabards, dresses and the hat, even better the most of the normal animations. I'm gonna try and see if I can get the shin's and such to work, and 1.69. Once I have that sorted I'll started on it for the rest of the races. Currently it's only done for female hins.

Watch this spot for a future release of an updated ACP fix for Amia.

Edit: Actually...the shins and stuff work fine xD. Stupid me. Starting on the rest of the robes. Will have release pack by the end of the night.

ACP Amia Update

Warning in advance. Download this at your own risk, it's going to be updated and will contain bugs at this time. Tested everything, but you never know what will happen.

Personal Website Link (Hosted on my website)
http://selvecdesign.co.cc/Selvecs_Amian_ACP_fix.7z
Includes fix for 1.69 stuff, and all updates.

Mediafire Alternative Link (incase you kill my webhost)
http://www.mediafire.com/file/m0wlfz2if ... ACP_fix.7z
Includes fix for 1.69 stuff, and all updates.

Extract it into main NWN folder. Should go straight into override folder. It doesn't fix any problems you have with cloaks. If your having cloak issues, suggest you redownload.

Its done. There may be some bugs. If so, note which robe is offending by number (in the crafting menu), race and gender of your character. Sent it to Disco so other formats will be up later.

Known Issues
- Coats do not work
- Fencing Pheno and Loincloth glitch
- Kimeno Robe doesn't work, uses same Pheno as Coats.
- Small amount of clipping using Loincloth and Kensei Style.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1.69 ACP Fix
Only download this if you already downloaded my fix before I added 1.69 stuff, or would like to use the stuff on another server without Amia HAK stuff.

Personal Website Link
http://selvecdesign.co.cc/Selvecs_169_ACP_Fix.7z

Mediafire Link
http://www.mediafire.com/file/2i0jtkvnu ... ACP_Fix.7z

1.69 Fix Notes:
- Coats don't work, they where created on a seperate pheno that was released on 1.69 after ACP 4.0 was released, nothing I can do about that I'm afraid.
- Fencing and Loincloth have issues, it works, but the loincloth doesn't rotate to the side like the rest of the pheno. Maybe look into it some day, but it's not a massive issue since I don't see loincloth wearing characters really using fencing anyway.
- Kensai has a few minor clipping issues with the loincloth, nothing serious though.

As above, any bugs found, note the robe/chest piece, race and gender.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Fix v1.0a. - Final Release.
-Dwarf female HAK robes fixed.
-Kimeno found to not work, as it uses the coat pheno.
-Rest of the races and genders tested, everything else works 100%.

Primary Server
http://selvecdesign.co.cc/ACP_Update_9_4_2010.7z

Secondary Server
http://www.mediafire.com/file/xxzyzzo4y ... _4_2010.7z

So thats the best I can do folks. Anything else, and I can't fix it. If you find bugs, I can fix those, but I think I've tested it all and what works works, what doesn't doesn't. I've fixed about 90% of the issues people had with ACP.

Looked at 1.69. I can fix everything but the coats, thats because the coats use their own seperate pheno that was created after ACP was released. As such, the ACP pheno animations are not compatiable with the coat ones. Fencing animation has issues with the loincloth also.

Otherwise I can fix the rest. Watch this spot for the 1.69 ACP fix.

Errr, bug found in Dwarf female robes. That would be last night, and the second one I worked on. So its not surprising. I'll check it out now.
You can use it, but just be aware that it's not an offical release by Disco, so it may have bugs in it.

So far I've tested everything works on Human Males, Hin Females, Dwarf Males and Elven Males. I don't have characters races or genders for other tests. So if anyone finds anything else, let me know thanks.

UPDATE:

Kimeno top does not work, thats the one with the big sleeves. It uses the coat pheno...
Tested with all races and genders, everything that works, now works.
Final Release done.

Have fun people.

Only download this if you already downloaded my fix before I added 1.69 stuff, or would like to use the stuff on another server without Amia HAK stuff.

Bumping this because i strongly recommend the ACP users to Dl it.

I'm assuming files downloaded from Selvec's pack replace the original?

I slave over a hot notepad++ and renaming batch tool for several days and yet nobody ,except a few diehards who caught me while I was testing, notices all my hard work till Disco makes a post.

You guys suck, I'm gonna go cry and cut myself. :(

Looking forward to see it working with Rizzen. His unarmed fighting style with the HAK stuff leaves his arms behind when he kicks and punches people.

I just forgot to thank you for the hard work!

I was joking anyway Dahlya, I did it for myself as much as anyone else, since I wanted to use the animations to. Thanks for the thanks however.

It might replace one or two files, I can't remember. I don't think it should replace any. If it does, just let it. It's meant to be a bunch of new files for the new stuff but you never know.

I found another bug. All unarmed combat styles now cause clothing pieces like tabbards and the new tunics to float around halfling models' faces.

EDIT: Actually, they ALL do this. Except the generic style.

Yeah, it wasn't the update. Something went wonky in my override files and made everyone's characters look like floating, orbiting masses of bodyparts. It's disturbing. I'm working on redoing my folder at the moment...

I was gonna say, cause I tested the unarmed with my human and elf PC's and had no issues. So all of them shouldn't have been doing that at the very least. Cloaks still disappear however, not really a bad thing when you consider that they would probably have massive clipping issues with unarmed styles.
