The idea of Tarkuul having three mayor forces. The Necromaster of the Church of the Vautned, Tarkuul itself and the Speaker for Tarkuul has potential... Well had from all that I know the whole intrigue and scheming against eachother has been done and over with and not to mention had a serious blow do to OOC reasons. Even I have my plans for the destruction for Tarkuul though I doubt my insanely radical idea will ever be allowed.
Maybe it is time the DMs allowed a cut back in interested parties. Kill the city keep the church or something like that. But OOC isn't the place to go indept into that I feel. And I probably won't be joining any of that in game, I'm not going to exceed my self imposed four character limit.

The Necromaster isn't a part of Tarkuul, The Temple of Velsharoon is under its own set of rules to Tarkuul and only obliges with the Tarkuulians out of politeness.

Tarkuul has had its spurts of liveliness (ha ha), but I guess the overtly evil red glowy sword black-cloaked menace kind of thing isn't for every necromancer. I'd rather see it as an ancient crypt with thick layers of dust, eerie lighting and with no undead walking around at all. In their stead.. more stuff like dissection tables, laboratories and libraries. Gargoyle statue guardians. That sort of thing. My Palemaster would move there in a heartbeat (ah ha ha hurrgh).

I think the number of undead guards should be lowered in Tarkuul, its a bit laggy to run around in.
Tarkuul needs a bathhouse of blood....YES

You can now order a Small, Medium or Total Destruction of your undead issue. Swift action and minimal property damage are our pride. Call now 555-KELLY and receive your own undead hunter patrol at your doorstep overnight!

There is only one NecroMASTER! and that's the title of the High Priest of Velsharoon, AKA Me, anyone Else claiming to be a Necromaster will be hunted down and burned and then turned into a flaming zombie of doom and destruction and catapulted into the Temple of Love to set all the Lesbians on fire!

Your common necromancer has little to do with undead further than the ability to weave negative energy (And in turn, raise undead). Dont have to be evil, dont have to be undead, heck, like guns and roses said, Druids use Necromancy all the time. Palemasters: Partially (Arm, and a few embalmed organs) undead bodies, yet still retain needs thoughts and ambitions of the living. Gah, theres a lore question thread for all this.... Nathano -is- a Heritic... I -still- take his side... ^^

We shall see... and Palemasters are not undead, they just have undead attachments, still classed as living, but with alot of benefits of undead, only thing they dont have is Eternal Existance i think.

I was simply assuming due to part self mummification, at least a small part would be classified as undead (In conjunction with the obviouis bone arm) While that part is not big enough to make the being truely undead as a whole. Exactly, Velsharoon in lore himself has a low amount of Followers, The biggest amount of Necromancers in Lore i believe was when Myrkul was still alive, after that they either all turned into Kelemvorites or went elsewhere to study undead and maybe ended up as Velsharan themselves. But alot of Necromancers can be anything from Red Wizards to Mystrans, and Mystrans don't tend to like undead things.

Where do you get that bit of lore? The draconomicon and faiths & pantheons only states that her main goals are about spreading the domination of evil dragons across Faerun. Faluzure shares this goal, albeit with the addition of undead dragons. As far as I can remember, I don't remember reading anything about Tiamat hating Faluzure or undeads.

It's called a "ninja" when people manage to post what you are going to post before you. It's also called a ninja when you get sort of owned.
And basically, He Picture owned me in both speed and Ninjaness. Because he now made the last post.
(Correct me if i am wrong)
Edit - I dare you to look up the definition on the Web.

well my interpertation if tiamat is that she doen't like turning her fine young suitor dragons into dracoliches, or anything of the sort. while a preist of tiamat might not activley run around smiting he would deffinately not hug or kiss them either.
