A halfling woman well known to the Dale and its guardians, stops by the mayors office to pay her respects.

She notices the letter on the desk whilst she waits for the mayor and tilts her head just a little so that she can read the contents of it.

A small frown crosses her face as she reads the conclusion of it and resolves to speak to this Crow in person.

If Peter and Nina dont mind an old friend dropping by, I will be there.

Belladonna

Walking around the Dale openly again, Belladonna takes note of the candidates for Mayor and takes a moment to pen a reply underneath one of them.

The Bendir Dale gates swing open in the early hours of the morning, a small figure standing in their place. Obviously a hin, the small man walks into the settlement a broad smile on his face, even through the large mustache on his face. His bright blue, gold flecked eyes take in all around him as he looks to each building and person in the Dale. Anyone he meets he kindly, and heartily greets them with a smile, wave and a "Yondalla Bless ye'!". The jubilant halfling wonders around the town in his heavy platemail; a heavy headed mace hanging at his hip, a shield on his back and a tome hanging from the opposite hip.

He removes a gauntlet and runs a bare hand through his golden brown hair, sighing contently as he takes in all around him. finally making his way to the Idol of Yondalla, the hin removes a necklace hidden beneath the armor. He kisses the amulet, which has the symbol of Yondalla, and kneels before the Idol, praying and bowing his head. As he finishes, the joyous hin stands and turns to see the rest of the town..

A green swathed halfling watches from her long ago habitual position by the tree closest to the market stalls and would give the hin a borad grin and welcoming nod.

And, by golly, the joyous hin would wave excitedly to seeing yet another of his kin. Apparently excited to see so many friendly faces and and very welcoming.

*Nick can be seen parading about the Dale from time to time meeting and greeting hin, both new and old and asking them what they think of the state of things in the Dale and what changes they'd like to see.*

Saturdays for the next month are looking no good for me.

*A humen women, wearing red full plate, walked into the dale with a hin with green hair in her arms. The women walks to the center of the dale and gently puts him down before returning to her own dutys, Mezzu now laying in the dale, his body burnt, arrows still slightly stuck in him. The little hin lays almost lifeless as his body seems to regect any sort of healing. As he lays almost lifeless, he continues to whisper "little fury"....*

*as the residents tried to help him, and prepair to move him to the Saldrins temple, Mezzu managed to escape leaving a trail of blood fallowing him threw the forest.*

The green dressed halfling gets out her almost indecent swim ware and begins to add tails and frills in lurid colours to it and laughing all the while to herself.

"Aw, hells," Briar Hardingdale says as she reads the notice over.

"This is just some sort of mad ploy to make me look like an idiot . . . I'll show her."

Lyle reluctantly pulls his fursuit from under his bed.

The mayoral debate will be held in at the Hinn Inn stage today. All are welcome to attend.

Last minute questions can be turned in through Speedys, care of "The Bendir Dale Mayor Candidate Debate", or straight to the debate referee, Willow Maynare, who will be in the Dale for a few hours prior to the debate (//AKA about an hour before the start I'll hag around.). You can ask general questions to all candidates or candidate specific questions. You can also turn in multiple questions of up to five question a person. Don't miss your chance to have your concerns be addressed to the public, turn in your question!

An addendum to the previous note is written out and placed on the Mayor's desk.

I have run across the persons who accosted me at the Hinn Inn, it was an unpleasant encounter. The leader seems to be a powerful priest of Kelemvor traveling with a human and a dwarf for cohorts who are his muscle.
Please be aware that they are finding and attacking people who they think are without a God to worship. They seem to be very adamant about having a God to worship and even went so far as to suggest I side with them. Why they even have a care is beyond me, is it not my own choice whom I worship, if I even choose to do so at all?
Regardless, they have given their ultimatum.
I have spotted them here in the Dale and near the Bendir Dale cart service outside of Cordor. The priest wears robes of red and silver, his cohorts donning full plate mail.

After an hour of waiting for Nick and Nof to show, the debate is canceled and it devolves into an open question forum, with residents asking Johanna Hardingdale questions.

but I can at least "plan" for it. If I miss it this time, then I just miss it but I will try to be there.

The only thing I'm hoping is that even though this happened IC that with the mix-up in timezone conversions that people don't think Nick and Nof didn't show up because they are irresponsible or just don't care.

I just hope we get the next one right

I'm EST (Eastern Standard Time, US) I don't know what EDT is. But why would daylight saving make GMT-5 change to GMT-4, wouldn't the time spring forward or back for everyone? Is there no daylights savings in GMT? Aren't I still 5 hours behind reguards of if its one hour ahead or back? I reallly should have paid more atention in school, LOL. Damn public schooling!

((GMT is always GMT.

But here in the UK we change from using GMT to BST during Daylights saving. BST is "British Summer Time" and is GMT +1. GMT doesn't change according to DST. It remains GMT. Remember, the southern hemisphere is not in summer.))

The Time Has Finally Come

People of the Dale,

The time of elections have finally come. The polls are hereby open and accepting votes from those who live in or are affiliated with Bendir Dale. Votes must be sent to the Town Hall, and left in Cindle's drop-in box. You'll know it when you see it. The polls will remain open until twenty-four hours after the debate. This must be stressed: The debate will go on at the rescheduled time, and the polls will remain open to accomodate any undecided voters afterwards.

The results of the election will be revealed within two days of the election's end. The votes will be counted by Elders Tak and Fendel, as well as Cindle.
