Johanna Hardingdale opens up the letter and lays it out on her desk in the town hall. A little mouse leaps up to look too. Completely lost by the subject matter she asks Cindle what this relates to.

It is a whole day later when Bella resurfaces from the inn. In that time she has recovered from her shock and heard the tale of how the stags head came to be there. In herself she is much more calm then, but still avoids spending to much time in the inn so long as the head remains there.

The sight of the stags head and shaken something deeply inside of the small halfling. She had lain in bed for long hours shivering in a cold sweat as if she were with fever. But in the light of the new day she had awoken and felt, if not at peace, then at least with the strength to go about her normal routine.

She had stumbled down the stairs to speak with Fendel and listened patiently as the hin rambled on in retelling Johanna’s tale. But all the while she would not bring herself to look over to where the stags head was mounted. She could understand the symbolism of it but in her mind the head was from a creature that was almost sacred to her. Such a rare creature it was almost divine.

But there was more to it than that. In her fever dreams she could see the stag itself, but it was and was not the majestic beast at the same time. One moment it was a stag and the next it was the silvery white sheen of a unicorn. A toss of its head and a blurring of its mane and it was a stag again.

She had forever been close to in essence to the land and for a long while had felt herself closer to her patron than she had in her life. But it was the image of Lurue that would stalk the back of her mind for some time to come yet.

The halfling completely unaware of why she did some actions, or indeed felt like she did sometimes. Perhaps in time she would learn the truth of it all.

I'm not passing out any sort of blame, just issuing a strongly worded, what's going on with this. I am sorry to hear that Bobo's RL is intruding on Amia events, I try so hard to escape my own RL issues that I forget people have their own lives. :shock:

~A New Chapter of Bendir~
~A New Mayor is Decided~

Bendir Dale has spoken as a whole and chosen its new mayor. Mayor Johanna Hardingdale, priestess of The Irrepressible Scamp and previous leader of the Harlequins of Brandobaris.

Let it be time to prosper as a town and not just like the fortress it once was. Growth is expected and mirth to be had! Let this be a new chapter in our stories, a new era of celebration despite troubles, and a new time for a happy blend of attitudes and races to live freely and harmoniously like the colours of a palette or the notes in a song!

Let the new age of revelry begin!

In most places around the dale have been placed wagons of various sizes. Clerks have been asked to help fill the wagons and prepare the dogs.

When asked, the clerks have been told to say that there is an impending storm coming over from the west. Houses and crops are likely to be destroyed and preparations are made if that worst case is foreseen. Spread the word, for if we get the alarm, we leave for Khem via Guldorand for temporary sanctuary. The incoming storm will affect the whole Amia.

*Under the Mayor's orders, Prim informs the townsfolk to start leaving for Khem. She quickly loads her paintings into one of the wagons and joins them.*

The convoy first circled around the Troll's territories by going through the roads of the Frontier. There they were joined by Gorthod Wenthur who helped fend off the kobolds and goblins along the way. Upon reaching the Foothills, the group found the wooden bridge to be destroyed and had to detour around and fight the very Trolls they wanted to avoid. After the short detour, the convoy made its way up to Guldorand without much trouble and was able to take the portal into Nes'ek.

Rikkudai notices the hubbub passing through he sends a letter...

Mayor of Bendir Dale

The Chapel of the Venerable Brethren of the Blessed Assuran welcomes its doors to you. Though we have little supplies and even less room, what we do have you are welcome to make use of.

As the wagons from Bendir Dale arrived at the village of Guldorand, the townsfolk would have noted a few unusual figures about, clearly not native to the small community.

The first wagons passing through would have found themselves being escorted by a man in red, white and gold full plate, helping the wagons and the people moving them.

As the last of the wagons and townsfolk of Bendir Dale were about to pass through the portal, the man would wish them well in a somewhat gruff voice and go back to his duties.

There we no indication that the strangers to Guldorand had any plan of leaving for fear of the coming storm.

Johanna, ensanguined and exhausted, reaches Khem eventually. The message from Rikkudai makes it into her hands, and she plans to make the most of what the Chapel has to offer, no matter how little. She also hears from others about how helpful the 'strangers of Guldorand' had been in making the trip comfortable as possible considering the downpour of blood.

She stays with the townsfolk of Bendir Dale as well as encouraging them to keep spirits up as well as active with crafts to share with the Khemian locals. Hoping to make the best of a bad situation in true hin style. Until there is word that Bendir Dale is safe to return to she remains with those that carted out in Khem.

Upon hearing that the storm had moved on and the Count taken care of, the wagons are given the clear to return to Bendir Dale at will. Before they do, however, many of the carts have been added to them bottles and skins filled with clean water, food, carpets and tobacco!

Hey Jo,
Seems a Drow *insert description of Vizaun* was galavantin' in the woods and attacked our people. I got the Drow with a little aid from some kobolds, surprisingly, and recovered what was lost. I didtched the Drow's body with Cordor as we don't really have a standing adventurer's branch of our militia anymore. A, Duegar *insert description of Ivan* kept following me as I was dropping off the corpse and decided to fight me. Needless to say I made it look like a fool. Keep an eye out for those two and let our full time troops know what they look like so they can take them down next they are seen in the Dale.

Jo has said I should track you down so you can assign me a job. Yes, yes I know, I think Jo is being lazy too and is just fobbing me off onto you, only joking! We all know her time is very limited now she's mayor.

So lets see, well me best talent would be observation. I am currently a tier two explorer although I have no known maps published yet, this be due to the lack of paper suppliers in tha dale, something I'm currently tryin ta work on.
I did help me ma and pa build there house in tha dale so I can help out with construction and manual labour if need be or if ya have any other idea's where ya want me ta work lets talk, yeah?
