Amia's website is more up to date. Pixies are request-only.

go with the forum as I see some incorrect info in that particular wiki page. The request only PC's and playable PC subraces are mostly correct. Faerie is request only now too, so that's incorrect. Also when in doubt, ask! Was there a subrace you were interested in particularly?

Can I make another Subrace Question here?
Why are only Elves able to be Fey-touched?

But arn't Fey-touched part fey? Like Fey who mated with Humans/Elves/Trolls/Orcs/Hin/Whatever has a reproductive system and then that Half-Fey mated with another Human/Elf/Troll/Ect.?

Fiend Folio: Quote: Feytouched Medium-Size Fey Hit Dice: 1d6-1 (2 hp) Initiative: +5 Speed: 30 ft. AC: 13 (+1 Dex, +2 leather), touch 11, flat-footed 12 [...Yadda yadda combat stuff]
Feytouched are a widely varied group of beings -- some are wispy and beautiful, while others are ugly and brutish. Some resemble elves, with pointed ears and almond-shaped eyes. Others look more like trolls, with warty skin and disproportioned limbs. [Which makes me think they must go beyond Human and Elves?] Regardless, all feytouched have at least one feature or characteristic that is out of the norm -- vibrantly colored hair, feathered eyebrows, or a propensity for speaking in rhyme, for example. Despite their actual appearance, all feytouched are highly charismatic beings that draw attention wherever they go.
Feytouched have no cohesive culture; either they become isolated loners, or they immerse themselves in cosmopolitan society, sampling everything life has to offer. They are also drawn to the same natural settings that other fey called home. Most fey respond favorably to feytouched and consider them distant cousins. Source: http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/ex/20030405aNote: Amia Wiki says the same thing. And then I stumbled on this in the Unseelie Court description! Quote: The Unseelie Court
"Blood is compulsory."
-- Tom Stoppard, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead
Unlike the selective, restrictive Seelie Court, the Unseelie Court welcomes anyone and everything with even a drop of ancestral fey blood. Fey can and do breed with anything, creating odd, mixed creatures. Most species consider the offspring grotesque monsters. The mutant creatures gravitate towards the Unseelie Court, which welcomes them and gives them an environment where peculiar physiologies and abilities are the norm. The Unseelie Court is a more hospitable place for non-fey as well. Court nobles eagerly provide patronage for creatures who are extremely strong, dexterous, clever, beautiful, or talented. Obtaining the sponsorship of a court noble is not without its rewards, nor without its dangers. For instance, a gifted bard whose playing impresses a fey nobleman might be invited to his castle as a guest. Once there, the bard will be feted and asked to play every night -- and never be permitted to leave.
Ruling over all these oddities is the Queen of Air and Darkness: a fey of unsurpassed beauty and grace. The Queen of Air and Darkness has no current consort and no surviving children. The court is rife with gossip and political maneuvering as each noble curries the queen's favor in the hopes of being named the royal heir.
Outsiders not of fey blood are rarely admitted to the Unseelie Court. Visitors must be prepared with unusual and powerful gifts for the Queen, or they might find themselves the quarry of a nightmarish hunt. Suitable gifts for the Queen include figurines of horrific power, gems of darkness, and cursed jewelry. (Details on the figurines of horrific power and gems of darkness will appear in a future fey column on the Wizards website.)
After a millennia of indiscriminate breeding, the physical appearance of the Unseelie Court mirrors the macabre. Twisted columns, trees forced into unnatural growth by royal gardeners, are scattered haphazardly through the hall. Curtains of shadows hide blood-soaked alcoves. Drawn back for times of celebration, the gaping crevasses reveal uninvited guests captured for the amusement of the court. Riotous blooms of nightshades and blood warts glow red in the evening, providing a maddening light to the misshapen court. The throne of the Unseelie Court is shaped like a great shadow dragon, a creature of midnight and darkness, like the queen herself. Source: http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/fey/20021213aEdit: Sorry for the seemigly needlessly long quotes! I just want to show I'm not taking anything out of context.. I'm always dubious about "...Blah Blah Blah..." quotes myself. Those double elipses scare me.

The answer is "Because that's how it works on Amia."
See: Strongheart halflings, Aasimar, Tieflings, Genasi.

Well! I would only try playing a Human-based fey. Nothing too ridiculous. But I definitely think a little diversity could be interesting. Maybe I will try to request it.

See: Strongheart halflings, Aasimar, Tieflings, Genasi. Would a request have any hope? I wouldn't care if I didn't get the abilities/modification/what-have-you. I am just curious if I can gain the rights to RP the character that way.

My question to you would be "Why?" since in the scope of our ampaign, Feytouched are explicitly Elven.

Yes! I want to be able to weave Brothers Grimm like tales wherever I go! Muaha! It's going to be great. That's a perfect description for what Unseelie should be like.

Always used the old folk lore behind Unseelie and Seelie courts. Almost completely ignored the stupid WoTC stuff. Evil little shits that rip your eyeballs out and use them as puppets if you offend them even in the smallest manner always seemed a better base for the fey and feytouched unseelie then DnD's idea of it.
Read Raymond E. Feists Faerie Tale. One of the best Seelie novels I have ever read, and probably his best work as well.

Agreed! and yes!...it should never be "Aww a cutie little fey lets pet it and tease it with bug jokes lol" It should be"OH S***!,a fey!...smile and be polite and back away slowly" Id also recommend War of the Flowers, tad williams...and the book of the lost by john connely....oh and the Mr norris one by ,name escapes me.
