That means since Amia doesn't have a festival already, I can attempt to start one from scratch, customizing it to suit Amia.

Bubbles used to have an "Easter Egg of Vile Darkness" in her inventory from an Easter egg hunt done ages ago when, yes, Camelot was a much sillier place.

*snicker* Something tells me you're not so into this now. Which is too bad, really. I was looking forward to seeing what you would come up with.

I was, and still sort of am. I just am unsure of what I can do that can involve the whole server and still be entertaining.

Well....hit me up with whatever ideas you've had so far and I'll go over them with you, to see what's most viable and such. I can also help out a bit with running said festvial / feast / party. That is, if you really want to do this. That goes for anyone wanting to put together a Faerunian holiday celebration, as well.

I'd reckon that the rotting would be our Halloween as its closest to October 30th real time as that's the day people used to mark the beginning of fall and the rise of the dark day's. 30th of April being the end of darkness and the return of light, apparently that's the Melting at 5 May. Now when exactly would "The coming storm" be? I'd be interested as I'm playing an Aurilite.

I do believe that's the name of the month, not a holiday.
For example, the 11th month of their year is called Uktar, which translates to 'The Rotting'

*ahems* Here's a monthly calendar that incorporates the different, known (as in "in the FR campaign source books") holidays based on race and deity: Click Me!(direct link to the equivalent of our RL month. oddly enough, the month of November aligns perfectly with the FR month of Uktar! ) Also, pay attention to the bottom of the page linked above. It tells (vaguely) how a few different religions celebrate the Feast of the Moon, including the faiths of: Kelemvor Shar Tempus The Red Knight Loviatar Lurue Savras Shiallia Haela Brightaxe Sehanine Moonbow Arvoreen Nephthys Luthic

A lot of those sound fairly could and would provide very interesting RP experiences; But it's mostly religion specific celebrations.
I'm trying to think up something that can involve as many Amians as possible, indiscriminate of Religion, race, status, etc. While I understand that this may seem sort of 'out of place' in FR, I see it as a festival to honour the dead and simply that. The pay homage to those who have gone before you, those who carved the world into what it is now.
I wanted to bring up some of the old PC's on Amia who have since passed, the ones who contributed a great deal IC through out the isle. Even some of the notable NPC's who have passed I had planned to put on such a list.

Alright. If you think you'd be willing to help me with some of the things, Khyl, I'll send you a PM with all my ideas for it when I get off work tomorrow. If you agree with most of my thoughts I'll start on the IC immediately.
