(I guess this is posted in the right place.) Am I missing something? I've looked over three DM events and I'm not finding any ooc scheduled event times. I'd like to attend some events but they usually seem to occur outside my normal playing times. If I had a scheduled time to go on I'd, more than likely, be able to make more events. Am I looking in the wrong place? lol Any feedback on this would be helpful. Thanks. Don't get me wrong some do but not all of them. Are the ones without meeting times just spurr of the moment DM 'play by ears' and recounts of what happened?

We don't tend to schedule times. We do them as our plot needs come up.

Yep. I have many reasons why I don't schedule things. You ask me, it's because I'm a free spirit. You ask my exes, it's "fear of commitment".

Besides:

Sometimes Spontaneity is the best inspiration.

I think one of Warrick's defining moments in his career occured during a semi-spontaneous event, involving the demonstration of something in Cordor (Vigilance Prime).

Yes, it means you have to be on a bit more often and/or be lucky, but it can be worth the while.

I've been meaning to ask to meet Tormak's mom! Just another question to ask that I guess I already know the answer to.

Yeah, it also comes down to, "Hmm, I'm on, can I run an event now? Yes? Sweet, let's do it."

There really is no "good time". We just kind of do them. Some few are "Scheduled" but that's generally because there's an IC reason for it, i.e. some highly publicized thing that has a "Time". Most of the time they don't.

I actually don't do something relating to my current plot unless I see a large concentration of the players involved in a common area.
