1. Is there any way the smaller shields can look different in appearance than what they can be changed to normally? The aesthic of the yellow or brown backside doesn't sit well with me, but I could just be picky. Is there anything in the Hak that isn't implimented as far as shield appearances, or maybe a cosmetic change would cost DCs to have a non-tower shield have a solid color or something?

3. Why are there so few items that have kobold as a racial requirement?

There's no real answers here. It is because it is. here are other things to do. Kobolds aren't famous for their unique prodigious item creation, theya re known for being snivelly little trapmakers.

1) the shields that can be crafted now are all the ones available. unfortunately to change them at all would require more hacks and that is something were not doing anytime soon. The shield colors also can not be changed as shields have no option for color, theyre a solid picture.
2)...only some spells have BoT pages... doubt more will be made without DC request
3)kobold req items are not something i know much about but i do know there are few race req items at all to begin with. if there is a kob merch in a cave somewhere then there might be but thats an IG thing and noone will tell you here publicly (at least i hope so) but you can always request your items to be kob only through dcs. also, why a kobold needs to RP having weapons is beyond me... its very atypical... but then again ... so is everything on amia =] (for better or worse).

It's not being aggressive, I gave you the most concise answers possible. Are there any other shields available? No, there are no other shields available in the hak to change your appearance to.

Why is there only a fireball page and not a scin sphere page? Because a scin sphere page has not been scripited. "Because". What else do you like me to say there?

Why are there no items with kobold only reqs? Because there are no items with kobold only reqs, on an OOC level. They dont get made. There's no real reason for them to be made either, because ICly kobolds are not known for their item craftsmanship like an elf or a dwarf.

As to #3, I wouldn't worry about it too much, Murex. Most restrictions can be overcome with UMD making them little more than flavored intention, and more importantly there are a number of ways to modify (or create) an item that has been forged by kobold hands. Objects created with the Job System and then renamed/rebio'd with the Scribe system, or renamed with Mythals and maybe DC rebio'd are ways to go.

Don't get me wrong, I think it's plenty sad, but people who play kobolds are unfortunately a niche group - as are most of the people who play monstrous PCs - so it's part of the not-so-shiny that we have to deal with.

Besides, the only way to have Cold Iron weapons, to my knowledge, is to forge them yourself, and there are few metals more appropriate for a kobold to wield than the stuff that fey hate as much as kobolds hate fey, amirite? (I am right.)
