I apologize for having not communicated in a while. I am still pursuing a possible lead regarding Terzaroch himself or at least those who'd oppose him but, for now I have been looking into an indirectly related matter, the construct colloquially called the Undoer (but is in fact a Minsnomer).
The Construct is actually known as the Immortal Machine and is a weapon from the earliest Elven settlement on this island according to a Tome found with information about it within the ruins of the Green Lake.
It was built as a weapon to oppose Terzaroch (who was actually nicknamed the Undoer) and when that war was ended, the device designed to control it was somehow broken and seperated into multiple pieces, then scattered about to be safe. The weakness to water was a built in safeguard they had designed to serve as a means to aid in it's containment.
I do have some other information about the situation with Terzaroch but scant little and it's not conclusive:
- He is or at least was a Demi-god of his own Demi-plane in the Hells.
- He did, at least at one point have legions of devils at his command.
- His plans if he can come back into the Materium is to try to over the land to add to his own territory.
At this point, another lead is being pursued and those whom I need to contact already about it have been contacted. The hope with that lead is to attempt to get into contact with others who oppose the machinations of Terzaroch, through determining where they might be reached.
Hopefully soon more information will be brought to light regarding Terzaroch and his machinations.

*A note is posted throughout the Dale* The Mayor has sent word that our folk may return home!!
At present all, save a few that have grown to like the idea of the road, have begun the return. We wish all those who take to the roads luck and may they know that the Dale remains open to them.

The hooded female seemed to be in an awful hurry as she strode up to the gates and shoved the letter between the large wooden slats of the main gate. She was not tall or big enough to be a human and certainly taller than the tallest Hin. Her trousers and sleeveless tunic were pine needle green and charcoal. There were leaves and twigs clinging to the fabric as if she had been laying under a bush in the forest. Her bare arms were slightly tan and she wore no symbols or at least none that could be seen. “Do see that the letter is found by the gnome it is of the upmost urgency.” She called out in common with an elven accent as she strode off toward the trolls area. Upon closer inspection the letter is simply a piece of parchment thrice folded. The writing is rather plain and upon the outside is: Master Crafter DAK ALGAR.//Please let me know if you sneak a peek at the contents before Dak grabs it

*Inquiring with Cindle, would confirm that Dak is a part time resident and has a box for the Algar Companies corespondence. The gnome in question would arrive shortly thereafter to check on his messages for the day.*
"Ah.. New messages I see.." Reading them quickly, taking care with the last one handled by Blade. "Hmmm... It seems my inquiries have been noted. I see difficulties for the New Horseman Monarchy..." Mumbling in pleasure and striding off with a slight smile.

// Mostly, I'm making this thread so the people involved have an easier way to figure out what times (if any) are possible to meet up, but others are welcome to reply or whatnot, as well. \\
Rumors of an upcoming handfast between Blade and Nick Shadow start circulating around the Dale as a number of notes are exchanged between Blade and Nina, Peter, and Egan. Blade's also seen getting strips of leather from Joro and other planning activities (like applying to rent a place near the idol quartet in the northeast).
// for planning purposes, right now, I'm flexible except for 7:30-9:30pm EST Thursdays and 6:30-8:30pm EST every other weekday.

An elf, dressed in chainmail in greens and browns and carrying two longswords at her hip, storms into the Dale, taking a moment by the gates to remove her helmet, her eyes flashing in barely-suppressed anger. She stalks up to Jayek and offers him two letters, her voice close to (but not quite) a growl.
"Please make sure Lyle and Nof get these. I'm not up to speaking with them in person, if they're around, but they need to see this."
She takes a moment to visibly calm herself, then nods to Jayek. "I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you, Jayek. I won't cause any trouble."
She turns and walks out, vanishing into a portal after walking out of the gates.
(Any who may have seen her or who spoke to Jayek may have recognized her as Anade, a Protector of the Grove.)

As the debris of the old bridge was cleared, a sense of anticipation settled in over the Dale. Such a grand new design and word spreads that the folk are returning from the Khalem, the sense of good feelings rises.
Materials are stockpiled and work begins on the footings for the new stone bridge. The plans are displayed in the Town-hall and hin happily tend to the needs of the visiting workmen.

A scene of a battle would be rather evident in the Bendir lands. Located near the orchard, blood would likely stain the ground some as well as signs of spells thrown around. Any who would have been in sight or hearing of it would have seen two members of the Eternal Order carrying of a pair of armoured elves (In red and gold tabards) away for interrogation, into a portal.
The sounds of battle wouldn't have lasted long and erupted quickly. Bodies removed just as quickly to be taken to their impending fates. Those that heard anything, would have heard accusations of pale-mastery thrown, with refusal to comply to demands of showing skin.

Many crawfish were found dead on the banks of the Bendir River. Both the North side and the south. Strangely, a hin fisherman Egan, noted that they were only found down stream of the new bridge.
Word spreads to the Dale that Talonites have been active in the area and to keep an eye out for any activities that may have led to the deaths of so many Crawfish.

Reports of fish and crayfish found along the banks are now coming in from the entire river, from Bendir to the coast.

Madock and I were in the Dale today when two adventurers (at least one of who's done this before) walked in with weapons drawn and refused to put them away. They left, but as one was a Dancer who was purposefully fading in and out, I Polymorphed to an umberhulk to make sure he was actually leaving.
As we left the gates, the Dancer cast a Bigby's to hold me and while Madock tried to protect me and I tried to point out the Dancer, just trying to get them to leave, the other one attacked and the next thing I remember is being raised with Madock being raised nearby.
They're called Duke and Iceberg. Duke is the Dancer mage, wears greyish dress-like robes and a hood and always has two daggers out. Iceberg wears silver armor, brown cloak, a blue hood and tabard, and carries a sonic-enhanced longsword.
They refused to leave Dale lands, but left when our local regular militia (heroes, all!) came out with us and told them to leave... eventually. I'm not sure if they will attack again for no reason, but be aware of them and, if necessary, call up the militia to help.

The Town Hall is found by the usual workers present to be disheveled by an apparent scuffle. The locals would find Nick Shadow picking the locked door to the Meeting Room and upon opening the door the reminants of splintered and chared wood and a fairly noticeable blood stain in one corner. The only infomation uncovered so far was that Lyle and Blade entered the room before the incident took place. //DM's please feel free to add NPC reactions to this thread as well as anyone one else present

The following is written in Hin and hand-delivered with copies made of any testimonials. Mayor Jo, Council, and Lyam, It is with a heavy heart that I file this report. Attached are testimonials from those involved and any missing will likely be found with Cindle in the coming days.
I was startled by the sounds of yelling and screaming last night and so decided to investigate. The yelling was done by Lyle, Copper, Willow, and Nick with mister Tuomas attempting to maintain the peace. Nick was being called a Sharran and was viciously attacking Lyle in one of their usual verbal spats that usually end in bruised egos. Glancing over I also noted Peter watching over an exhausted looking miss Blade. Copper asked that I detain her and so I did so via The Grasping Hand.
Dutifully I then proceeded to do my best to calm the situation. Nick had his bow out, but not strung and in reply Willow had her sickle out. I told them both to stand down and only Nick complied, as Willow was filled with rage. She shouted an insult, Nick slapped her, and before I could stop it, Willow cast a spell that ripped Nick's soul from his very body. Her form then distorted into that of a werewolf's as she lunged for the corpse. I dropped the spell on Copper and detained Willow, attempting to calm her down. When the spell ran it's course she lashed at the lifeless corpse of Nick. I detained her once more with my magic and as I was trying to find out what all this was about, she broke free of my spell and fled the Dale. I chased after her but could not find her so I returned and had Lyle and Copper look for her. Under the caveat that they return as well as I had questions for them.
When Nick fell, miss Blade collapsed, seemingly from exhaustion and was escorted away by Peter. Meanwhile, mister Tuomas aided me in trying to figure out if the accusations of Nick being a Sharran were true or not. According to his spell 'Vision' which is a divination, Nick did indeed have connection with Shar. As the divination ended, Lyle and Copper returned and informed me that Willow was indeed returning. I asked them to remain in the Dale and hefted Nick's body just south of the ridge as to avoid conflict renewing upon Nick's return to life. Tuomas guarded us as I raised Nick and proceeded to question him.
He said the argument erupted due to a spell Lyle had cast on Blade that denied her the ability to willingly attack a sentient being in more than self defense. This it seems was related to the incident within the Meeting Hall and related to the bloodstain in the carpet. He asked what punishment would be delivered and I told him that a filing would be left for the council and it is for you all to decide the severity of the punishment after weighing all sides. I then proceeded to question him about his Sharran ties.
According to Nick, he had once been a Sharran, but not any more, at least no further than is required as being a shadow dancer. This startled me and so I inquired about our own Quin Dancers. He said that they too share a link to Shar. I am having mister Tuomas contact and check Willie and Egan (the two Quin Dancers that came to mind) just to double check this claim. If this is true it may represent a threat to the Dale. If this is false, then Nick could very well be a Sharran.
Also, in regards to religion Nick spoke freely of Dallah Thaun in common tongue out on the open road. As we adults know that is a breech of unspoken rules and in hind sight I have half a mind to have Jayek reprimand him, but as I had more pressing issues to attend to so I smacked him for having done so. Luckily, Tuomas seemed more confused than intrigued.
In any case, I escorted him back to the Dale where he said he would go find Blade and retire for the evening. Along the way I spotted Willow and found out her side of things. She admits to overreacting to the slap but also asked that I consider just what Blade had done to Lyle, apparently, within the Meeting Hall, while acting on Nicks behalf and such. I explained that she is to come before the council so that you all can decide what to do about this event. After parting with her, I proceeded to speak with Lyle and Copper and find out their stories. Lyle went into further detail of what had happened the in the Meeting Hall. In addition to this he explained how Blade had attacked him after coming to him out of worry for Nick and how that had led to the entire incident I had came upon that evening. Following a walk through of the events regarding Lyle and Blade's meeting, more to satisfy my own curiosities, I then stepped outside and found Peter.
Peter added a new puzzle price to this whole ordeal, a cloak that causes only I'll effects to the wearer. It seems he wrestled it free from Blade, who, though wearing it, had seemed protective of it. For the time being the cloak is being kept with myself until a wizard can properly look it over.
In any case, that is all I have to report on. I leave it to the leaders with authority to do so to call those responsible for disrupting an otherwise quiet evening, before themselves to testify as required. I merely request to be notified of the outcome at the next meeting if a verdict is reached by that point.
Inner Warmth, ~Nina
//OOC note: I am sorry to dump this on you for the most part, Gothic, but I simply could not deal with things last night due to the late hour. Also IIRC one of the responses to murder is banishment which any but the council or mayor lack the authority to do when it deals directly with Kin.
//Can the players of: Nick, Willow, Lyle, Blade, Tuomas, Copper, and Peter all leave witness testimonies? *In Blades case, a letter from Nina would find its way to her within the day requesting she turn in a witness testimony for not only the events that evening, but for the events with Lyle within the Meeting hall as well*

Willow leaves a note that's addressed to the Elder Council and Jo.
Elder of Bendir Dale and Mayor Jo,
I write to you to leave my testimony of what happened from my perspective. I'll give some background to before I found out something was wrong.
Before the incident, I was in the forest, where a few protectors of nature and a few other travelers went off to search for Nevaeh, a leader in the Cordor Guard, because she had gone missing after having said she would come back. Our search took us to Wharftown, where we did indeed find her and she said she had forgotten she mentioned she'd come back. Come out of the Selunite temple, I saw Nick, who looked very troubled. It's no secret there's no love lost between me and Nick so it shocked me when he came to me and asked me where Lyle lived. I told him I knew but that I wouldn't tell him. After asking why he wanted to know to begin with, he said that Blade was with him and he was looking for her.
Judging by his expression, I believe he knew something had happened or perhaps even knew exactly what had happened but wasn't going to tell me, for obvious reasons. When we returned to the forest, I again saw him there, searching the forest. I told the Hin Serena, who was with me in the forest at this point, what he had asked of me and that he looked concerned some how in Wharftown no more than three minutes ago. She had a worried look on her face and said Lyle had told her that he was going to speak to Blade and that he'd only be a minute.
We then went back to Bendir Dale and found the meeting hall in the condition you've no doubt seen now. The door was wide open when we arrived. We looked around and when I sniffed at the blood left behind, I was able to identify that the blood was almost all Lyles and only partly Blades. We then doubled back to the forest, where we knew the Gnome Mr. Tuomas had been only minutes earlier. He's a powerful wizard and we figured that if I couldn't find Lyle and Blade through a scrying, he surely could through arcane magics more powerful at locating people.
We found Tuomas and ported back to Bendir Dale to show him the scene, as he had asked to see. After he had a chance to see the crime scene, we came out of the Town Hall and I scryed for Lyle, where I saw him beaten pretty heavily. Blade looked clean and uninjured. I heard Lyle telling her that he would make it seem like it wasn't as bad as it truly was so she wouldn't get in too much trouble. At that point I made the connection that she had obviously harmed him. I broke the spell and Tuomas casted his spell so that we can get an exact location, since it was a bit difficult to make out exactly where they were. We found that they were in the Quagmire Swamps just behind the Mercenary Camp, in that tunneled area.
Tuomas and I made our way out there. Right when we walked up, Blade chugged down an invisibility pot and a speed plot and ran. I gave chase and told her to stop, but she didn't listen. I let her leave to check on Lyle. I patched him up and he told us a bit of what happened. He said that Blade "knocked him out," but I actually I think he was lying to us there. Remember that I had heard him in my scrying that he would make it appear not as bad as it was. He said that Blade had admitted to him that Nick was a Sharran. When she asked what Lyle would do if Nick refused to change, Lyle told her he'd out Nick for what he is. At that point she went to murder him or "knock him out," as everyone believes. He also mentioned he put a Mark of Justice on her, which she had agreed to, in order to keep her from attacking people if it wasn't in self defense.
We got Lyle back to the Dale and while we spoke a bit in the Inn, I came back out to the square to find Blade crying on the floor. I watched her for a while, obviously very angry for what she had done to Lyle as well as for harboring the Sharran Nick. She eventually saw me standing there and tried to get me to kill her, opening her arms wide and saying "do it." I told her I wasn't going to kill her in the Dale. In retrospect, I realized that she might have been trying to get me to attack her because that would be the only way she could do it in kind, because of the Mark of Justice.
After she continuously asked me to attack her, Nick walked in through the gates and started yelling at Lyle, calling him an evil Hin, one of the worst people he's ever met, that he tried to get Blade to turn against him and all kinds of other crap. All the while, he had his bow out in a threatening manner, getting right in Lyles face, before Tuomas and Nina quickly got in his way. I pulled out my sickle and shield and told Nick to stand down. Nick kept yelling things out and so so did Lyle and I. There was a huge blow up of arguing, before Nick turned and hit me in the face. I was already near my breaking point and when he hit me, reacted by trying to kill him, which was successful.
At that point I was enraged and had to be detained by Nina. I killed him with the spell Finger of Death but I didn't lay another finger on him, besides one kick after he had fallen. After some time, I left the Dale before things got more out of hand.
When I came back, I saw Nick and Nina walking back toward the Dale. Nick saw fit for some reason to try to communicate with me so I told him to screw off. Nina then interviewed me and told me that they had found solid proof of Nick being a Sharran through Mr. Tuomas' magic. I told her what I could at that time, but I was still pretty angry about the situation.
I realize that killing him for hitting me was wrong and that I should have let Nina take him down instead. But I was at my breaking point already and he put me over the edge by laying a hand on me. Nick has been out to get Lyle for years now, trying to paint him as a bad person who's wronged the Dale. Now knowing that he's a Sharran, it's so very clear as to why. Lyle is a known priest of Selune, of course Nick would want to ruin Lyle. Nick and his lie spreading while Lyle was captain of the Militia is partly the reason why Lyle stepped down as captain. Lyle didn't deserve that, he's done more for Bendir Dale than most people have. Hell, he even took Swift as his own for a time, if you all remember. And now that Bobrin has left Blade, he takes her. Nick is obviously shadowing the Torrowfire and trying to ruin them because of their connection to the Selunite Church.
Knowing all this, combined with my belief that he's manipulating Blade and his audacity to try and march in to the Dale and continue to paint Lyle as the bad guy and hitting me, I think few people could honestly say they could hold themselves back from harming the person.

Step 1: Visual examination The exterior of the specimen is carefully examined with a loupe for any traces of foreign substances attached to the shell. Any other anomalies to the structure of the specimen is noted.
Step 2: Dissection The carapace is open up to expose the innards to check for discolouration or deviations, especially in the gills and digestive tract. A portion of the tail muscle is extracted for later use.
Step 3: Boiling The dissected remains are boiled for 1 hour. Any changes in colour in the shell and the broth are observed.
Step 4: Toxicity Two rats in separate cages are fed with (1) the portion of raw uncooked muscle and (2) the portion of cooked muscle. Their behaviour is observed for the next 24 hours.

Bulnar takes an interest in any tests being openly conducted in the area. He also provides a sample of each of the materials used in the creation of the bridge to anyone that can verify whether or not they are tainted in some way.

*sent to Nina, Lyam, Mayor Jo and the Council members*
Witness Testimony of Nick Shadow
After returning from Khem, I came home to an empty house and went looking for Blade, after searching the Dale with no luck, I wandered into the forest looking for her. After only finding Willow I moved past without even a word and continued my search. After a short while I decided to return to the Dale back through the forest and found Serena Voi. I asked her if she’d seen Blade and she told me she was in the town hall with Lyle. I immediately returned to the Dale and the Town Hall. I knocked on the door a few times with no response then picked the lock and found the room to have been blown to bits by an apparent Greater Ruin spell and traces of blood. Worried, I immediately intensified my search of now Blade and Lyle. I checked Wharftown first and ran into Willow, whom I asked if she had seen Lyle and knew where he lived. After being pretty much un-cooperative I returned to the Dale to my house in case she returned, and waited for about an hour hoping she would return.
After some time I couldn’t just sit there anymore and checked one of her special places and ran into her after waiting for a short while. She was distraught and visibly shaken but I was able to calm her enough to find out that Lyle was apparently trying to corrupt her mind into believing I was a bad person and basically spy on me to verify such while trying to turn the one person that truly loved me, against me, but she apparently wouldn’t and fought Lyle in my honor. He apparently cast the greater ruin on her during the scuffle but she was too skilled to be taken down by the arrogant prick and defeated him. Immediately after she ported somewhere no one would find them and dragged Lyle along to try and reconcile with him, where he apparently agreed but only after placing his cursed Mark of Justice on her. Who is Lyle to do such to a fellow hin that clearly was trying to atone for what she’d done, not that I can blame her after the mind job he pulled on her earlier. He acts like he is the final word on all things hin when he just isn’t. He’s acts like he’s above the law since none of his deeds go punished, but now he must answer for his part in the cold blooded murder of another hin… ME.
Like a pack of angry wolves he and his merry band of misfits were ready to jump on me the second I called out Lyle for what he is, a true bastard. Words were exchanged and all Lyle and his group would hear only is his own “speculations” of my connection to Shar, which is completely inaccurate. Still threats were made repeatedly on my life because of his “speculations” and were foaming at the mouth with revenge and bloody murder. That’s him after all, an eye for an eye. After enough crying and whining from Willow of her single-mindedness I couldn’t resist here yapping anymore, so to shut her up I slapped her on the face. After which all I remember was her laying her hand on me then waking up in the orcs lands south of the Dale after Nina and Tuomas raised me.

A message is left at the notice board for Willow:

I've noticed some dead crawfish around Bendir Dale. I'd like to meet with you and discuss this disturbing sign. I'll stick around Amia Forest and Bendir Dale.

Then he headed upstream, watching out for possible pollution source.

After finishing his trip upstream, Veles returns back to the area near Bendir Dale and starts researching the food chain in the river, attempting to find out what is the main source of food for the crawfish. Later that day, Veles was seen in Uhm, asking the pair of fisherman about the crawfish.

*After moving for cover, shouts of "Tyranny" would have been heard from the folk in the orchard (the chicken farmer and the orchard mistress) and the road Warden would have simply shook his head sadly.
As the EO have no rights to attack anyone on Dale grounds, reports will eventually be made to their superiors.*

Nick would reply that he knocked on the door but there was no answer and that he was looking for Blade who was supposedly inside with Lyle.
