Hey everybody, I was just trying to log onto all my characters which were restored via the ingame restorer and whenever I attempt to log onto them I get booted on logging in. Is there a reason for this that can be fixed, or will I have to rebuild them? Some of the characters include, Ted Alebelly (30 Fighter/DD/Rogue), Arch Mage Delor (28 Pure Wizard)...Also there's a character missing from my vault entirely. I had a rebuild done sometime back in 2006 and the character which I rebuilt from is still there however the new one is not...Any help would be greatly appreciated with this topic, thank you in advance!
PS: The Name of the rebuilt character was Delor Mezzir 28 (Cleric/Fighter/Monk)

You probably need your CDkey authorized. Make a new character on the account, log in when a DM is on, and poke them for an authorization. As for the missing character, contact an Admin, such as Tormak, Nekhy, or Disco.

Would that be the case if I was able to restore other characters and successfully log onto them?

Possibly, if they share the same public CDkey you're currently using.

Hrmm...that's a negative, I just brought this NWN Platinum pack so they're totally new CD keys. I wonder why I can log on some but can't log onto others.

Contact the above mentioned people, just one of them mind you, and I recommend Tormak if you want it done fast, and they'll do it.

You don't need an admin for CD key authorisation, any DM can do it.

Honestly authorizing a key takes two seconds. The trick to getting a busy dm us stating what you want in the first tell. Saying things like " hello?" Or "anyone there? Dm?" Makes us dig for info when we may infact have time for a key authorizing but not much else.

I am forcing myself not to play Amia in windowed mode, so I rarely check the forums while in-game, yet another lazy me thing for not checking before needing a DM. I'll refrain from doing it. _________________

The "dm???" "can i ask a question?" and etc etc does drive me a bit mad, especially after I've just announced I'm free for requests.
