This is way too late for this thought to be useful, but it just occurred to me that if the current year is DR 1380, and if today is the day after Flamerule 30 (i.e., July 31), then today is Midsummer Day, and tomorrow is Shieldmeet.

Anyway... anyone want to share any big ideas for something that can be thrown together last-minute? Shieldmeet is supposed to be a day of festivals and celebrations, of mingling of different races and social classes, feasts and faires, big happy joyful stuff. I have a few little ideas (PMs about to be sent), but it would be nice to see Amia acknowledge the passing of what's supposed to be a fairly major holiday.

I may be hosting stuff if I get near my computer tomorrow evening.
