Lay followers can make all sorts of wild misinterpretations. A pale master following an undead-hating deity is not that crazy as such, if there is some reason it makes sense in their mind. But I just don't see how mutilating and mummifying your body, hanging out with a Winterwight and shooting negative energy out of your fingertips makes you a better healer. "I gave up everything for medicine, even myself" is all cool and dramatic - until you realize becoming a pale master has nothing to do with medicine and you could have been just as good without the unrelated necrophilia.
I am not sure this is the place for me to tell you what to role-play, though. If it works for you and you're convinced you have the story of a lifetime at your hands, go for it.

I don't know. I figure Negative Energy, in small enough doses, could have simply a numbing effect like a cold compress. If it can drain strength, stamina, and fortitude, certainly it can drain sensation. Not to mention using it to do things simple healing cant do, like excise tumors or fungal infections, ailments caused by an over-abundance of life.
Are there simpler ways of having such a thing for a healer? Yes. Are any of them as metal? Doubtful.

If you're set on PM healer, perhaps consider Ilmater over Salandra, and you get to roleplay out all the delightful self-harming involved. I bet most of those Ilmater followers have a bone limb from cutting themselves so much!

The best healer is à shadowdancer with 100+ healing! I've seen one as it was awesome. Something invisible healing two barbarian glass cannons in the abyss for 100-120 every round.
I have no doubt that you will be good at tossing on heal kits but there is a thousand more things. Oh crap I just got feared, you just follow with kits, super cleric hits me with a remove fear. I'm cursed- you cant do anything, super cleric drops a restore.
You have 1 thing you bring, tankiness, and healing.
The Wisdom Cleric ends up actually being able to use buffs which prevent you from needing healing in the first place, regular heals, mass heals, etc.
You're convinced to do something awful. Do it then and prove us all wrong.

Anyway, the best healer type is something that can kill things so fast that no-one will ever require healing.
Fwahah!

Shadowdancing cleric healer.
Did you feel that? Your mind just got blown.

Your allies know to expect those soft little hands even through they can't see you. So they don't react and cut your arm off. I'd say yes....
Besides we all turn a blind eye to the excessive mummification of heal kits

Can someone explain the mechanical advantage of a monk using quarterstaff over kama? I don't get it. Other than 'coolness factor'...
Two-handed weapons won't require any two-weapon feats, and they also have 1.5X STR modifier damage bonus. Kamas are superior for DEX builds, whilst quarterstaves are better suited for STR builds.
Concerning the feat Nature's sense. Can you See the extra AB when it's active or is it a "Look in the Combat log" kind of feat?
As it says in the article you linked:
This bonus is not reflected on the character sheet when wielding a ranged weapon, but the bonus is still used in combat.

He's supposed to go in, steal stuff, gut a Narnian or two, and get out. Thrown tomatoes and the odd angry lion mean nothing to his ridiculous robustness.
Side Issue: Went to replay my old kobold from when dust tried to run a scenario some ways back, and had no idea what I was doing with him. I settled on simply trying to start a new one, but I keep ramming my head into brick walls over where to go with it. The basic concept was a warrior who would wade into what settled for kobold front lines and direct traffic, but I feel like it's a bit of a tough stretch trying to shove Knight Commander into a dexterity based character. Maybe it's just my inability to convert from strength to dexterity and simply go with it? Ideas would be appreciated.

Do you think Ghostly Visage is worth anything at all beyond level 5? I don't.
But that is where you are wrong! Ghostly visage is in fact amazing for making you immune to irritants that spam magic missile. Beastman shamans for example.
Are there any good Tiefling builds that are not Wizard or just heavy Rogue?
I have never built a Tiefling before and it just seems like they only excel in those two fields. I guess, potentially, Assassin. Or maybe Monk. But those just seem bleh.
Tiefling Cleric might work?
I just want options, really, haha.

'Thanks' I suppose. I'd still like to know. It just seems like the race is pigeonholed into certain roles.
