viewtopic.php?f=20&t=47486
viewtopic.php?f=20&t=23225

Specifically these topic.

I'm going to update it.

All of it.

If it concerns classes, spells, game mechanics, anything that should be in those topics, throw it in here. Throw it in here RELENTLESSLY, and do not stop until it is in the above topics in some form!

And then we will finally have updated sidebars.

This includes summons, which I will write an updated version in, and throw it in the second topic, below "Updated Spells". Do not include summons stats or specifics like that, they will not be included. What we want is names, alignments, things like the new Mummy Dust change.

Then all we have to do is bug Disco to change the sidebar links!

Palemaster : Spare Bones? (Does that still exist?)
Shifter : ...Well, you know.
Dragon Disciple : Different Dragon types and their alignment/element/breath

Portal Rod : Still talking about the old mushroom dealie rather than the crystals.
OOC Restrictions: Do they still exist?
Resurection: Diamond reagent required for DM event rez? I read something like that. True Rez? IDK.

Probably missing something explaining about the BoT.

Lots of talk about Thayvian Crafted items. Do they still exist?

Bless Weapon and Great Thunderclap has BoT.

Paladin : Summon Mount disabled :(

Divine Might / Shield / Grace / Dark Blessing Nerf <- I see you posted this for Paladin and BLackguard, don't forget the bland Clerics.

Thayvian items (system anyway) do not exist and need to be replaced with equlivent Mythal information.

They do still exist, and magical spell buffs do not work on them.. yet work on Mythal crafted stuff. So im not sure why a change to that is needed.

Edit: But ur right, the system dosnt, but the note still applies should anyone log in with said items.

Added cleric bit for Might/Shield, clarified True Ressurection. Will add notes about the BoT to the modified spell list above it.

Quote:
On Amia, the feats Divine Shield, Divine Might have been capped and scaled to Cleric + Paladin Level. For Divine Shield and Divine Might, this applies only to the damage or AC effect, not Duration. For example, a level 8 cleric/2 Paladin with a +12 charisma modifier will get +10 to Damage, and +12 to AC, but for the full 12 round duration.

Perhaps I misunderstand, but why do they get +10 damage and +12 AC? Is Divine Shield not capped to level?

Edit: Also, the Ability BoT page is missing

Maybe a note explaining about the non functioning custom spells that are in some spellbooks. Eg. "A unique spell (self)" and "Feder's Magic Words".

Is it possible to get guidelines for holding a dead person's body captive?

Example: Person gets killed but no one is around to know it and the killer keeps the body so no one can raise/resurrect it.

This will be very annoying for the person that got killed to RP being dead for days at a time, due to OOC circumstances of no one being online to resurrect them and/or the killer not being online to do the post-mortem RP.

I know it's pretty common sense, but some people need it spelled out for them. Can we get it added to where if you get killed and no one resurrects you, it is safe to say you will be resurrected by some unnamed cleric or force by next reset or the reset after?

Just a suggestion.

The RDD levelling description is a little fishy. It would be easier to just write down the total boni instead of the numbers you subtract from the Bioware RDD. I know for a fact you don't end up with +0 Strength at level 10, but with +4. Etc.

can the description for time stop be amended? I have zero idea of what its gunna do on amia. other than that you need sands of time to cast the spell. normal 9 seconds stop? does it stop everyone on the server and thus should be used sparingly? is it just the map your in at the time?

keep up the good work disco and well every dm, I can't imagine you get enough credit for your time.

No, you end with +0, but it's figured in badly due to being a hide instead of a leto reduction. the intention and proper result is +0 so I'll not write it any other way.

I'm not adding this because there's no general guideline to make. every case is unique. If you ask me, if you are dead and in someone's possession: Tough. You'r edead.

Will add note about custom spells and timestop.

RDD STR Bonus: +2 at level 2, +2 at level 4, +4 at level 10 - 4: therefore net Strength gain = +4, not +0 as is currently stated.

Net gain is +0. Youget 4 at 10 and we take 4.

4 - 4 = 0.

Oh I see your meaning, you are talking net gain for level 10 only, not net gain for total RDD at level 10.

This bit is edit: But I do have to mention, the wording in your recent update does imply that at level 10 RDD your net gain to strength is +0, when really, it is +4, it's just that upon your taking of level 10, you get no gain to strength at all.

Edited after Tormaks reply.

Specific Guidelines on the use of True Rez. Capturing PC's and holding them. (Giving permission and such). Guidelines on the use of PnP spells in RP (Again, requiring permission and DM stuff). Just an overall very in depth explanation of the mechanics and rules surrounding PvP, along with its associative actions.

Different question Dahlya. Thats about holding. True Rez isn't really a specfic situation, it generally has at least two actions required for it to be used under any circumstances.

The Mosh has generosuly donated a new Summons varia page to the Rules and Lore forum. All that remains is for the sidebar links to appropriately point ot the correct places and posts, something I can't do.

Ah right, sorry. Thought I saw it there.

f_Note [Add, Delete, Load, List][Text]

Sorry it was under "Amia Player Tools" on Notes". Says to type in f_Note ? in the shout channel for instructions. I can explain some what.

All instructions need to be entered into the Shout channel.

f_Note Add: Add's a pin to your players location on the map. Typed like "f_Note Add Deep Crystal Deposit".

f_Note Delete: Removes the last pin/note added.

f_Note Load: Loads all the pins/notes for the area you are in.

f_Note List: Lists all the pins/notes you have.

Notes can be updated/changed and deleted in your Amia Player Tools under notes on nwn. The notes will be displayed on your maps also found in the player tools, these maps can be aquired from characters with the explorer job in game.

You can get better information from typing the f_Note ? in the shout channel in game.

Not sure if it's ever been mentioned, but maybe under the trident thing, make mention that Weapon Focus in Trident doesn't give you the +1 AB it should, as Bioware never fixed it.

I've been breaking into the job system more lately. What I found from other players is that there are alot of special functions to some jobs that aren't listed in the specific job descriptions in the list called "Jobs".

For example:

- Tanner doesn't mention the ability to make unique scabbards.
- Tailor doesn't mention the ability to make unique hoods (though it mentions customizable clothes vaguely).
- Weaponsmith doesn't mention the ability to make unique weapon appearances.

You get the idea, and I don't know what else I don't know beside those.

A lot of these were added after the fact a sDisco added the hak and made the systems. I don't think I can add those, Disco hass to pretty up his job pages himself, I'm afraid.
