The forest is awesome, especially since all the shrubs and trees and what not actually make it feel more like a real forest now.

Heh. Now it's the crossroad to the north west of the crystal. Largest open area unless everyone wants to stab around the marsh. Just because the forest changed doesn't mean the people will.

I haven't been on to see the new forest, but from what I hear and see, I like it. Especially if it looks as foresty as everyone is claiming.
It's easy to forget you're in a wilderness area when base NWN's tileset tells you you're in a flat area with just a couple of trees in any given direction.

Aye, that tileset is just beautiful and you can not do a lot wrong with it. Would be awesome if the rest of the forest would just become like that.

Oooh also, i have a question, Do we RP that the Forest has.. grown more? Or... that it was always this way? It's been slowly growing to this end since it was burned down, so it was a very slow, gradual thing. Anyone who RPs this happened overnight deserves a facepalm.

I have to say that it's sure easy to get lost in there now. The whole tileset is very visually crowded and may take some getting used to. If anything, it'll probably cut down on the number of fights because you won't be able to find your opponents... And is there a transition up to the treehouse? I know where it comes down, but I can't find a (legitimate) way to get up to it in the first place. And the view from up there is amazing.

i honestly think there is a transition bug because i was just near the base of it and then popped up on it. there were others that did not have wings there too. so idk i cant see the transitions but theyre apparently there.

Indeed, wow. The Potion Hag's hut is fantastic....... expecially as she's been living in a 'garden shed' for however long. The hollow tree was far better than that thing!
Looks more like a NWN 2 tileset, really...that sort of standard and quality, I mean.

I love the new forest. It has a sense of mystery and actually gives off a wild and untamed vibe, where as the old one felt kinda like a public park in a big city. I hope the whole forest, all the forests really, can be done like this. Thanks!

Whoa, that's seriously excellent. Love how the treetops obscure vision, makes it feel properly overgrown! And the rising lights are superb

I love how people are still hanging out in the forest even though it's a legit wild forest now.//sarcasm
I understand why the druidy folk do, but I still think everyone and their grandma should know better to stand out in the middle of a relatively uncivilized area.
